Hotel Santa Isabel la Real is indeed a real gem of a hotel! Warm welcome, nice room and right on top of the old quarter. Very friendly and helpful staff who will overload you with tips of things to do in the surroundings. This was our first acquaintance with Granada but certainly not the last!! ... Erik de Koning

Thank you, we had a lovely time at Hotel Santa Isabel la Real in Granada, what a beautiful little oasis. The staff at the hotel were very welcoming and helpful, the room was clean and comfortable and the breakfast buffet was absolutely delicious. The situation of the hotel was stunning and we would have no hestitation in recommending anyone to stay there as well as hopefully returning ourselves in the future. Really a lovely hotel, beautiful rooms. Friendly people. The serving staff could be the owners of this hotel, very motivated! They speak English very well but are also willing to listen to your best Spanish. Restaurant tip: Bar Aliatar Los Caracoles, op Plaza Aliator. Authentic Spanish! ... Xandra

01-12-2008 - great hotel!
In one word: FANTASTIC!! Great location where you step in another world. A very nice authentic house, build around a patio. From our room we had a stunning view on the Alhambra with in the background the snowy Sierra Nevada. The very friendly staff is extremely helpful, also with buying a ticket for the Alhambra. If you order a bottle of water or a fruit juice you certainly do not pay too much, very reasonable prices! We slept very quietly. There is a busstop in front of the hotel which makes you very mobile in Granada. Conclusion, next time we will visit this hotel again, highly recommended and very reasonable prices. ... Pretty hotel with friendly staff. Parking possibilities which is a luxury in Granada! There goes a small bus to the Plaza Nueva and the Alhambra, busstop is in front of the hotel en services continue until 1 am. To walk back in the evening did not give us a comfortable feeling, hard to find the way back. Hotel is very close to a nice square where you have excellent views at the Alhambra. ... Marielle
